Eleanor Lamb

Eleanor Josephine “Sissy” Lamb, 46, of Peoria, passed away at 6:32 a.m. on Sunday, June 17, 2012, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
Sissy was born in Peoria on March 24, 1966, a daughter of Edwin Milo Lamb, Sr. and Nancy Lee (Mansfield) Lamb. They preceded him in death. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Theodore Walker and Jeffrey Lamb.
She is survived by her son, John Matthew McLemore, Jr. of Peoria; grandson, John Matthew McLemore III of Peoria; two brothers, Edwin Milo Lamb, Jr. and his wife Chris of Peoria and Gregory G. Lamb of Morton; and sister, Heidi M. (Rick) Phillips of East Peoria.
The family will be receiving friends on Friday, June 29, 2012, from 5 to 9 p.m. at 414 Edmund Street in East Peoria.
Memorial contributions may be made in Sissy’s memory to The Sisters of the Third Order of St. Francis.
