Douglas Kent Bateson, 57, of Hanna City, passed away at 6:21 p.m. on Thursday, May 24, 2012, at his home.
Doug was born in Peoria on June 9, 1954, the son of Richard W. and Barbara A. (Witherell) Bateson. He married Debra K. Alexander. She survives.
He was a pipefitter for Steamfitters Local 353 in Bartonville.
There will be no public service or visitation. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Clary Funeral Home, 3004 West Lake Avenue, Peoria, Illinois 61615.
