Clyde Culbertson

Clyde "Buss" F. Culbertson, 73, of Chillicothe passed away on August 1, 2017 at Heartland Health Care Center in Henry. Buss was born on June 16, 1944 in Peoria the son of Clyde and Clara (Dummer) Culbertson. Surviving are his children: Nick Culbertson of East Peoria and Chris Culbertson of Chillicothe; a grand daughter, Jemah Rose Culbertson of Chillicothe; a brother, Dean A. Culbertson; many nieces and nephews; and Pam Perrego, who he lived with for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Nadine Dooley. Buss was an Army Veteran, serving during the Vietnam War. Buss was an operating engineer for over 30 years. he enjoyed stock cars, building and watching them at the Peoria Speedway. He also loved to go to Florida and Missouri with Pam, as well as living along the Illinois River. Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life to be held at the V.F.W. Post 4999 located at 1729 East Santa Fe Avenue, Chillicothe, on Sunday August 6, 2017 from 3-6:00 PM. Weber-Hurd Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
